Did you know that you can recycle more than just your carrier bags at your local supermarket?  Tescos, Sainsburys and other large supermarkets also accept packaging from fruit and vegetables and even toilet rolls.  Just look out for the label on the back which says 'recycle with bags at larger stores'.  For a full list of where to recycle packaging, see DPD's website ( https://green.dpd.co.uk)    or check out  terracycle.co.uk

From 10th March, Tescos are setting up new recycling points in nearly 200 stores to enable people to recycle soft plastics.  Shoppers can now return crisp packets, bread bags and cling film at selected stores.  Check online to see if there is one near you.
