There’s no doubt that Mother’s Day will be different this year. With the limitations on travel and visiting, you may be looking for a different way to acknowledge your loved one. Why not mark this year by planting a tree? The National Trust are aiming to plant 20 million trees by 2030. You can help them by donating to their project. For a donation of £5 or more, you will receive a digital certificate by email which you can keep for yourself or send to someone else. Alternatively, there are organisations such as the Woodland Trust or Tree Aid or you could help towards the planting of the legacy forest in memory of the late Captain Sir Tom Moore. There are many options on the internet. So, why not celebrate all mothers in this special way, not least of all, Mother Earth.
