How is the Formal Curriculum timetable organised?

The standard school timetable operates on a fifty-period fortnight (25 lessons/week) with 5 x 60-minute lessons per day.

However, the timetable displays a 7-period structure to record any pre (period 0) and post (period 6) lessons that are taking place.
