Students can use the toilet before registration, at break and lunch times. They should not be used during lesson change overs or after the first bell goes at the end of break and lunch.
If a students requires the toilet between lessons they should request permission from the relevant member of staff and be prepared to wait for a convenient point in the lesson to prevent disruption to their learning.
Students should try to avoid using the toilet during lesson times. The school recognises that sometimes students may need access to the toilet during a lesson. In these instances, you must hand your toilet card to the teacher for them to sign.
The staff member will then present you with their toilet pass and you must hand over your mobile phone (switched off). This pass must then be returned in exchange for your mobile phone.
Students are expected to behave in an appropriate and respectful manner when using the toilets.
They should not be used to congregate in or to apply make-up. Sanctions will be imposed for students who are found to be behaving inappropriately in the toilets.
If you have a medical condition that requires you to have access to a toilet more regularly than normal, please speak to your student manager who will issue you with a toilet pass.
