The maths summer work is designed to be a “bridging the gap” programme. When you begin in September we will have high expectations of your Algebra skills and will assume a lot of Knowledge of the higher GCSE specification. 

The booklet below will ensure that you are able to apply the skills required to have success in A level maths. It will also help you close any learning gaps you may have. Please read the introduction carefully.

YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO SHOW YOUR TRANSITION WORK TO ME IN SEPTEMBER

You will be required to complete a baseline assessment in one of the first lessons in September. This will test your understanding of most of the topics covered in the transition work.
