We have a lot to cover over the two years and as a department we have high standards and expectations as to the amount and quality of independent work you complete. It is therefore important that you complete your summer work so that you arrive in September ready to get the most out of your lessons.

All students are to complete the following tasks studying the main theoretical approaches in Sociology.

Most students will complete the following overview task covering sociological approaches to research. This task is particularly important to those students who have not studied Sociology at GCSE.

Some students will complete the following wider reading task. This task is particularly important to those students who intend to continue their studies at University.
