The mathematics summer work is designed to be a “bridging the gap” programme. When you begin in September we will have high expectations of your Algebra skills and will assume a lot of Knowledge of the higher GCSE specification. 

We use the Pearson A level text book in A level maths - you will be given access to the online text book in September. Below are videos for the first 3 chapters of the book.

You will be required to complete a baseline assessment in one of the first lessons in September. This will test your understanding of most of the topics covered in the transition work. We will spend a the first few weeks consolidating the first 3 chapters but your teachers will be assuming that you have covered the basics.
