Different forms of communication
Make a mind map of all of the different ways you communicate with the people - texting/chatting/email...
All communication comes under Mode - the mode is a continuum of speech & writing. For example a conversation with a friend at the park would be spontaneous speech, sending them a Snapchat would be somewhere in the middle of the continuum because it is written but it contains features of speech, and a letter sent to them would be written as it is planned and edited.
