Read through the booklet below and choose interesting    documentary films, books, articles or podcasts from pages 4, 5 and 6.

Write a review of one of the items you read/watched or listened to.

Save your work as a pdf so that it can be uploaded to a Firefy task in the first week of September.

There are examples here from last year's A level students, you might like to read them to help you choose which films, articles to review.

Guidance for  writing the book reviews

If you're stuck on what to say, imagine you're talking to someone who is asking you whether they should read the book.

  1. Start with a couple of sentences describing what the book/film/article is about: write a synopsis.
  2. Discuss what you particularly liked about it: why should students read/watch it?
  3. Mention anything you disliked about it.
  4. Give some key facts
  5. Round up your review: Summarise some of your thoughts on the book/film/article by suggesting how it might be useful to your study of A level business.
  6. Give it a rating, for example a mark out of five or ten, if you like!
