At Wilmslow High School we run a two week timetable, with every lesson taking one hour.
- The school day will still start at 8:45 and finish at 3:15
- There will be five lessons every day
- Students will have a different timetable for week A and week B.
As a consequence of this, the number of lessons which students have each fortnight will be different from in previous years.
The table below outlines how many lessons students will have in each subject per fortnight. The allocations of time have been designed to ensure that, as much as possible, each subject has the same allocation of time as it has had previously at Key Stage 4:
Subject | Periods per fortnight |

Mathematics |

* Students who choose separate sciences (3
GCSEs – biology, chemistry and physics) will study science in these lessons and
have 5 additional lessons, having chosen separate science as an option.
